MTT open day bus information

The Merseyside Transport Trust open day is this Sunday, 13th July, from 10am to 4pm, offering an opportunity to view the 502 up close and inspect the work we have done. Recently more work has taken place on the frame and bodyside panels of 29896, as shown in the picture below:

If you are planning to come to the Merseyside Trust Open Day by Public Transport, the MTT will be running a free bus service from Ormskirk Bus Station (a two-minute walk from Ormskirk railway station) departing at the following times: 09:48, 10:18, 10:48, 11:18, 11:48, 12:18, 12:48, 13:18, 13:48, 14:48, 15:48, 16:18 and 16:48. This provides good connections with Merseyrail trains from Liverpool.

There will also be a free bus service departing from Burscough Bridge railway station at the following times: 10:32, 11:32, 12:32, 14:15, 15:15 & 16:15, connecting with trains from Southport, Wigan and Manchester.
