Our final outing this year will be at Rainhill Model Railway Club‘s Christmas Exhibition, to be held this Saturday at Rainhill Village Hall on Weaver Avenue. The show is open from 10am until 5pm.

At our stand we will have our usual range of merchandise on sale and you will have the opportunity to chat to members of the group about the progress we are making.

The venue is close to Rainhill station and, in addition, a vintage bus service will run to and from the North West Museum of Road Transport in St Helens. For further details please see Rainhill MRC’s web site.

RailUK Forums votes for the 502

Posted by Robert Hampton on 12th November 2014 at 7:24 pm

The administrators of RailUK Forums have proposed donating £500 to a preservation project, and the 502 Steel Appeal is one of the projects being considered!

The final decision is up to the forums users. There are many deserving causes up for consideration. £500 would, of course, be really useful to us, so if you have an account at RailUK forums, please vote vote for the 502 in the poll.

The vote thread is at http://www.railforums.co.uk/showthread.php?t=108104 and voting is open until 16th November.

Thanks for your support!
